The Legislative Assembly of Telangana, also known as the Telangana Vidhan Sabha, is the lower house of the bicameral legislature of Telangana. It consists of 119 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). The seat of the Legislative Assembly is at Hyderabad, the capital of the state.
The term of the Legislative Assembly is five years. However, it may be dissolved earlier than that by the Governor on the request of the Chief Minister. The last legislative Assembly elections in Telangana were held in Nov 2023.

- The Telangana Legislative Assembly elections in 2023 saw 2,290 candidates contesting for 119 seats, a 26% increase over the 2018 Assembly elections.
- A record 104 political parties contested the 2023 Assembly elections, in comparison to 94 parties in the 2018 Assembly elections.
- 91 of the 104 parties secured less than or equal to 0.1% votes individually and only 0.8% of total votes cast in the 2023 Assembly elections collectively.
- Telangana had 32.6 million registered voters (electors) in the 2023 Assembly elections, in comparison to 28.1 million registered voters in 2018.
- Only 72% of the voters exercised their franchise in the 2023 Assembly elections, a 1.4% drop over the 2018 Assembly elections. The men and women voter turnout was similar levels at 71% and 71.6% respectively.
